NYC Band

Any musicians at the org who live in NYC interested in getting together and jamming? It's be a cool thing to have beginning musicians and seasoned pros associate, do some Prince covers, and explore funk, jazz, rock, and other styles.

This would be like a Manhattan Musicology class...wink

(This is an outgrowth of the earlier "Prince in NYC" thread...)

For me it would be a jamming type thing, ultimately maybe trying ot do a gig in the future. but nothing too serious.

Oh, yeah, the "Band" in the name is just to grab musicians' attention rather than the term "Jam Sessions".

The whole idea would be to just get together people who either have little training or a LOT of training and just hang out and see what happens.

Sounds like a good idea! I'll be in China, believe it or not until February 12th, but I'd love to get it started.
