So I got nominated for more British Asian Music Awards than anyone else..wanna vote 4 me? I know I'm still relatively new here, and I'm just starting to get to know some of you on here....but some of you might know that I'm a member of one of the UK's biggest asian bands, our group is called Swami, we mix bhangra with rap, funk and rock (in fact one of our recent tunes was inspired by Mazarati's "She's Just That Kind Of Lady"  )
anyway, I'm one of the rappers in the group, and we were recently nominated for 3 Br-Ama's (British Asian Music Awards), we got more nominations than anyone else! We got nominated in the categories: Song Of The Year, for our song Desi Rock. Group of the year, (Swami) and Producer of the year (Diamond aka DJ Swami) So it would be pretty cool if you guys headed on over to http://www.brama.uk.com and voted 4 me! Oh, and my band's site is located at www.desirock.com p.s the song we did that was inspired by the Mazarati track is called "DesiRock Part 2" and there's a preview on the site. peace, thanks. |

Lol I was talkin to Bobby Friction the other day and found out his favorite tune of all time is "sign o the times", we should start a desi-celebrity prince fan club lol.. we're releasing a new EP soon with all the Desi Rock remixes on it, including Desi Rock Part 2 if you ain't heard it yet, keep an eye out for it... peace out xxxxx p.s gotta be said, u lookin fine as hell in the "intoxicating" video |

yeah the vid ain't bad
oh bobby knows about my admiration of prince...only reason he played my trakco n his show. well it was a cover of "girls and boys" .....lol theres a few of us you know..just ask adil
