Remember Colorado - A poem REMEMBER COLORADO
By Officer Shockadelica Remember Colorado Two boys drenched in sorrow Bullied by their cold hearted peers Socially tortured to blood stained tears Reaching the literal breaking point They snap like a thousand skeletal joints The high school tragedy It's not just there As you plainly see The hate is everywhere And still you bully and continuously torment Its an even greater sin When you do nothing to prevent How can you deny if you Remember Colorado Now it is the time If you wish to see tomorrow. Stand up and Rise Up And seize this final day The only chance to live your life Is if we stop the hate. Sometimes, the only escape from the ordinary is to desire the darkness just a little bit more than we considered healthy. Beyond the edge...we may finally find where we belong. | |

Thank you. I wrote this one day when I was in school. I was in the cafeteria, and caught a pack of jocks picking on a kid (This was after Columbine) Eventually, a teacher broke it up. Then I just started writing about it. What got me more angry than what the jocks were doing were the oeple all around who didn't do a damn thing (I was the one who got the teacher's attention)
