The sheet music says the following (which I just tried and it seems right if a bit simplistic):

The song is in the key of A.

The basic chnages are from: (each | is the start of new 4beat measure)

|Amajor--> GMajor | Dmaj/F# | GMajor | GMajor-->Dmajor/F#-->Amajor |

I dont' know how this affects guitar, but if you play the A and G chords in the 2nd inversion (meaning the C# and B are at the top respectively) you get the right sound for the chorus.

The last time in the chorus you throw in a Emajor on "love" in "I think i LOVE (Emajor)..... Her (back to A major).

The verse is pretty much the same chord progression.

According to the chart, the bridge is just measures of Dmajor to Amajor/C# (2 beats of each) while he speaks, and then alitlte melodic riff (D-E-A-G#, F#-E-D), but I'm not sure that DM to A/C# is right.
