Okay, well as long as you've got the thickest string correctly tuned (to E) it's pretty easy to do by ear. Put your finger on the 5th fret, on the thickest string. This is the note that the second thickest string should be. Tune it so they are the same. Now put your finger on the 5th fret, on the second thickest string. This is the note that the third thickest string should be. Tune it so they are the same. Now put your finger on the 5th fret, on the third thickest string. This is the note that the fourth thickest string should be. Tune it so they are the same. Now put your finger on the 4th fret, on the fourth thickest string. This is the note that the fifth thickest string should be. Tune it so they are the same. Now put your finger on the 5th fret, on the fifth thickest string. This is the note that the thinnest string should be. Tune it so they are the same. Standard tuning is written: E55545. I hope this helps... | |
