The song and recording is well done. The vocals are... well "Rusty". Probably due to the throat damage. No offence. There's a little too much distortion tward the end of the recording with the guitar. Check your levels. The clippings come through my monitors.

Camel Sights
Cool groove. Vocals can be improved upon. Not dissing the style rather that it's really important to keep a consistent distance from the mic when recording the vocals. I could hear a lot of moving in and out of the mic range and sometimes it sounds as if the mic is actually half way in someone's mouth. My guess is that it was being held by hand. (big no no in recording) Hard to get a good recording that captures that "live" feel as if your were on stage jumping around and all.

You guys always display a large amount of power, energy, and emotion in your songs but MOST IMPRESSIVELY is that you span such a wide variety of styles and dynamics. Very unique and as always, I'm impressed.

Dander Damsel kicks my ass every time I hear it. It really sounds like you guys spent a lot of time on the production and writing of this song. The builds... the climax... the deep lyrics, it's all there. For a group effort, it's the best thing I've heard on this board. It's the most I've ever heard you guys REALY in sync with each other. The chemistry is really there on that track. And SOMEONE ELSE WROTE THE WORDS if I remember you telling the story right.

I'm not saying that you should re-create that song, but you guys as a group really captured something special on that track and whatever that was is what I'd love to hear again. I think it was just being that in-tune with each other as a band. Bands are hard work. I remember.

hey you seems to really like the song, one thing apart is that on most other songs the drums is fruity loops wich kinda kills the feel we try to pass, so apart from With the fog and dander damsel all songs are rough demos, cause most are with fruity loops and without bass and almost just me playing the things. Now we are almost 1 year without a drummer and we are turning into a bedroom band. But me and the 2 guys who writes in the band are always close, what I think is a good signal biggrin
The bass player is turning into that kind of guys, Straight edge hardcore, and singing eocore in other band. confused

There is no real drums in any of the songs. But With the fog and dander damsel was played on the keyboard, was played by a real person but hitting the keys with samples. We had a drummer, a great drummer, he played jazz and heavy rock but he moved out the city, and when we recorded the songs he was not around, dander damsel with him in rehearseal was great. It's very difficult to find drummers in my town, most of them is turned off because we play slow songs too, and groovy things, it seems guys only wanna play heavy, death and thrash metal, or pop rock to play in the clubs and gain money.

ok, I was going to say, that there was just too much human element to those drums on those songs.

Nicely done!

Maybe one day, I can find some time to lay some live drums over one of your songs. Inbetween the baby feedings, the wife pampering, and the web sites.

Just keep recording them on a seperate track!

Rusty Boy..
PC - sorry 2 hear about that! Wow. That's not good at all, I hope he gets better.

It sounds very rough. I dont know,, I just wasnt feelin it all the way. it needs more of a structure around a basis. The guitar solo was ok, a little loud. I don't know..it just didn't capture my attention. But hey I'm just a drum programmer, I can't play or sing worth a dime 2 my name!
Keep on keepin on!
Can't wait for our collabo 2 bust thru sum speakers.

I like Camel Sights. I think I may have told you before that the singer reminds me of the Mr.Big singer, Eric Martin? Your singer has a great voice. Rusty Boy is a great song as well. I like how different these songs are. You guys have a good range. This takes me back to my headbanging days. I really, really like Rusty Boy.

thumbs up!

How is your singer? I hope he's ok.

pray
