yea, that was the origonal and i see prince does it in his accoustic set. also did it with chaka at the cafe de paris | |

Yeah, I know the tab didn't post the way it looked when I typed it. I'll try to explain it in words, maybe that will help.
1. Finger the 9th fret of the high E string and the 10th fret of the B string, and play that fingering twice. 2. Finger the 7th fret of the high E string and the 9th fret of the B string and play that twice. 3. Return to 9th fret E/10th fret B and play once. 4. Play the following fingerings twice (one note each): a. 5th fret E string/7th fret B string b. 5th fret E string/5th fret B string I hope that helps. It's a real easy little progression. It's real similar in fingerings to the opening riff of Sugar Ray's "Fly", if that helps. Good luck! | |
