Guitarists, you need this pedal!

I'm not kidding. I got the Boss equalizer this week and it's solved so many problems for me! Combined with my DS-1 I can now get any distortion tone I want, from fuzz to tubescreamer (I've compared the sounds with other pedals) PLUS I can play jangly rhythm AND do a clean solo with a creamy jazz tone with the same guitar/amp settings! I'm so happy with this! If you're having trouble with your lead tone, try one!

hey Hectim - I had one but it was back in the late 80's and it was a hiss machine. Do you notice if there's a lot of hiss?

Nope, I haven't noticed any (I do use it to cut the upper frequencies though so that would eliminate hiss anywhow). I'll try some settings when I get home to see how the hiss is...

you know me - I'm a purist, uh, when I'm not using the variax and the pod, (heh... uh, ennyhow). i spose if you're running a bunch of pedals already, the EQ is definitely a help.

Ok, here's some mp3's: http://www.geocities.com/...ower73/EQ/
just me noodling around first without and then with the EQ on in different styles. I deliberately used a very subtle setting so the difference isn't huge. I've also normalized so the the difference in volume (which is very handy in live situations) isn't audible.
Yo Otan, I've tried it with the highs up but no hiss whatsoever.
(Other gear used: LP, boss chorus, delay and ds-1 through the classic clean setting on a V-amp)

bad spelling edit
