Neal, I knew I was right to put you on that list of favorite guitarists, way back when... Whoo!! Dude, you are too kind. Gotta get to your city so I can hang with you and my brother and talk some music. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I really enjoyed this. It did conjure an image of Melrose Place-ish sultry shmoozing, but it was also quite soulful and indeed, beautiful in parts. I dug the modal runs, but I'm not so big on the ONE bluesy lick I heard that a million guitarists play...overall, top, quality stuff! Really drew me in to your musical journey.
If you'd please comment on MY guitar playing on the Sugar Electric thread, I'd be most grateful. You sound very trained on your instrument. . [Edited 11/3/04 20:34pm]

Thanks for listening. Glad you enjoyed it. Regarding "the ONE bluesy lick" depending on the material, sometimes a cliche is just what the doctor ordered. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Man I missed this one. Boy you going on back with this one. Did you go see Ray or something...lol This is old school soul/funk!!!
Very refreshing to hear! Nice tasteful solo to. Good emotion, he didnt overdo it. Feeling this psy. But you know what Im gonna say next! This is dying for a bleeding vocal... But its fine as is. This would work great in a movie soundtrack setting without the words. You should send this to some film publishers!

Thanks man, musically I was inspired by both versions of Syreeta's "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" (Syreeta's and Jeff Beck's) and since I couldn't do a kick ass guitar solo I called on the real Groove Master General, theAudience. Believe me, I'm trying to "warm up" my vocal chords again. [Edited 11/9/04 18:59pm]
