Do i need the band? I recently parted from my band,
thus all the drum machine and song writing questions i've neve rbeen on my own, and ms tarting to ponder whether i should call up my mates and get back together im not use to using drum machines and actually handling all the instrumentation and arrangements I parted with the band because i wanted to do my own material and grow as an artist but i always liked having a band, its extremely fun what should i do?

get back with the band and try to make a go of it. it is very difficult being a one person band. it can be done, but sometimesigetlonely.

How about finding another band, one with musicians that inspire you?

If u can do ur own music on the side, keep the bandmates. B-sides interaction b-tween musicians is what makes things Xciting. If ur music is good enough, they will want 2 play it. If not, U got 2 do the best thing 4 U! Always keep expanding urself as an artist.

if it is YOUR band
then you don't need to part you just need to provide the proper direction i am a musical genius who kinda sucks at playing things other people can be used as your paintbrush as long as they are willing Starrfighter

I think doing it on your own has a lot of advantages.
Try and get a good drummachine a basic sequenser or even just a fourtrack tape machine. See if you can work out some of your ideas. I did it like that and it can work out really nice Stijn
