WHAT IS A MinorMajor7thadd11 and what's it sound like? http://www.funkmusician.com/chords.html
No time to explain it. I built this so I could SEE and HEAR any chord out there. Click on a key, click on a chord, it'll play. Some of these are hideous, but, you get the idea. I'll explain later. Gotta run. as always, ENJOY. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Okay. I'm at home now and I can explain.
Last week, I went searching online because I KNOW there is something like this already put together for guitar. But I needed something for keyboard - without the high-falooting piano notation. I'll learn that ONE day, but for now, just point me to the right keys. But alas, there was no doodad that would show you the keys and play the chord for you. How ridiculous is that? You can BUY a chord charter doodad for $7 at guitar center, but nothing online? Crazy. So, yeah, I put this together, ALMOST all on my own. I lifted some code from another site and modified it, (yes, I'll be giving credit where it's due, but time was running short at the office). It took two days to put this together. Pretty amazing if you ask me. Hope you folks find it useful. The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

Very cool.
(You may want to check Major7th add11 and Major7th Sus4) Here's a site specifically for guitar: http://chordfind.com/ (visual orientation is a bit odd) Not as many chord names but alternate positions. There's a MIDI button that lets you hear the chord. (won't work for the Special Chords) They've even got a Left-handed Version. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. speaking of which....can anyone tell me what chord this is? I actually play it on my song "Touch me Again." It's
e _____ b_____ 2 __ g _____ d _____ 2 __ a ___ 1 _____ E _____ Kinda like an A7 with a Bb in it, too. Good luck!

(You may want to check Major7th add11 and Major7th Sus4) Waaaahahahahahahaha. you think I actually KNOW what the hell I'm putting up there? No clue. This is a learning tool for me as much as anybody else! I'm clueless on that stuff. Sad, but true. Ohsnap. I see what you mean about the Major7th Sus4. I never knew it was such a minimalist chord. well DUUUH. One is spelled with an "AJ" and the other is spelled with an "IN" sheesh you people and your insistence that I be actually accurate with my information! Okay, no seriously, tell me where I'm wrong on this stuff. It's pretty easy to update the file. OH. And I see that I'm sending the wrong information to the chordamathingadoob. I'll fix that. you people are SHARP. [Edited 10/12/04 6:16am] The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3
