Need some help, i've been writing a song for about 2 weeks now
and every time i edit it out i keep changing the ryhme scheme,lyrics and the syllable Structure of the song
i already have the hook, but now every time i edit the stanza i usually find myself unhappy wit a paticular line, and i end up changing it, and it disturbs the whole structure of the song, thus i have to re-edit the whole song

i've changed the song from an ABA ryhme to an ABB ryhme

syllables use to be 676767 now its just 667 667
eventually i'll come out with a good song but the process takes so long
anybody have any advice?

Leave it alone, may be a case of Analysis paralysis.Put it to bed, and come back 2 it in a couple of days,weeks,hopefully the constipation will pass I'm talking from personal experience.Sometimes i find that i've actually got a couple of songs happening and i've gotta get out the knife and seperate the siamese tracks
