Go back to why you had the dream in the first place. I find inspiration in listening, reading and watching and remember that there's a difference between a dream and a goal. A goal has a plan to attain it and a dream is what mad you establish a goal.

Hey, Slave2daGroove, i thought you were making an Artistic statement, "like an observance of the human Ego, or Nihlism." I feel bad that it's gone . i'm sure it initiated much soul searching among many Orgers. In fact this Avatar thing is a neverending quest 4 identity, which i never really feel satisfied. I may change my blurry pic to a dot ( . ), we may've hit onto something important Vina has a monthly, uhmm, Avy. change. Poor 'paisley' has regressed back to a 4 year old, i'm damn jealous of Taureau's; how do you get any clarity into an avatar confined to 15K & 64 x 64 pixels. That's my dream.....Mr.Electric Purple
These comments show my inability to cope with my identity ~~**~~ [ ] ~PClinuxOS~ I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ...

You know the rest of that verse. That's where most of us are at. Not alone baby bubba. I think over time the emotional response and the zeal of the realization of your passion may begin to fade. Not the goal. Just like a lot of people confuse spiritual consiousness with emotions. They think just beacause they don't have the same emotional responses to things like they did when they were new, means their not spiritually in tune anymore. Don't confuse yourself that your falling back when perhaps in fact you are more focused than before. Set small sets of achievable goals and work toward them. When you reach those small milestones, you will most deffinately see the reward and know your still on the right track. Not much happens over night. Lots of love. Kelly All Rights Reserved. |

Kelly Good point about the zeal fading. Day to day life takes over sometimes and it's hard to keep the enthusiasm of a child. That's why I love Bjork so much. She doesn't seem to have lost that sense of wonder and creative abandon. Really good advice there, Kelly. The thing is, we know... we feel like something isn't right when we start to leave the dream behind. Something isn't right, something was left unsaid, unfinished. And when you go back and do something, you know the real reason why you are here.

Conscious and unconscious are 2 seperate realities.A poetic dream may not be a DREAM as such as being un-conscious,and tapped into the collective unconscious of the 'whole of Human spirit'.Therefore in this sense a dream of the conscious mind is a wish, aspiration or desire.
A dream, when unconscious and selfless, connected to the womb of all Beings Collective Unconscious, where every particle of individual thought is un-aware, and the symbols of much deeper schemes are at work in a encrypted visionary intelligence without thought,a place where only the soul may interpret and devise and be guided to the now, is the beginning of where we come, and where we learn we are going. The script is being written by us all for us all. This is not aspiration, but our Natural state, the unconscious. From our visions in this place we live out our lives happily if we hold them with conscious strength and acceptance, playing the chord of un-aware awareness.Hold the innate symbols in the light so they may grow and lead to prosperous good health and 'Enlightened living', dreamed into reality from all of the Universe. ~PClinuxOS~ I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... Moderator | However...
That zeal can be contagious. Communities like this and the newfunkorder allow you the opprotunity to surround yourself with proactive people going after what they want to achieve in life. Sometimes everyone needs a good talker to get a "good talkin too". Oh, man. I'm quoting prince lines. Slap me. All Rights Reserved. |

That is EXCELLENT advise. This is what I do every day. E PLURIBUS UNIM (out of many, one). I have many things that I do, many ideas, but I take them one step at a time. Peace, JD [Edited 10/6/04 14:42pm]
