Guitar Technique

For those who where enspired by Prince to play the guitar what songs whould you put in beginers, intermidate, advance playing?

It could be riff, lick what ever!

My list would read,

Beginer - Opening riff to lets go crazy,
Intermidate - Question of you
Advanced - This was hard to pick as there where many but Joy in repetition from the ONA disc.

What do you guys think, what would be your list?

Rowdy

Beginner: The Cross (easy peasy)

Intermediate: Controversy/1+1+1=3 - learn to do hundreds of sly funk fills

Expert: The Sensual Everafter (phrasing), Computer Blue (solo eek), The Rainbow Children (knock 'em dead)

Joy in Repetition from ONA is a bit like Jimi playing the Star Spangled Banner at woodstock - I just can't see the point in trying to emulate such character-filled playing

Way back when I first began learning I found Sometimes it Snows to be a good example of tricky chord changes. I guess between 'beginner' and 'intermediate' shrug
jerkoff.....drool BULLSEYE! cool

I don't know, personally, a lot of prince songs are easy for me to play, and i do not think there are many hard ones. In prince's case its more like, he's the one that thought of it, and thats where the talent is.

But he has a lot of little things that are cool and pretty hard.
for instance, the main horn line in "Rock hard in a funky place", that is too cool.

But there are some peculiar things that i find pretty hard that I doubt even Prince would do live as well as on record, like the final solo of 3 chains o gold. I knwo it is him just trashing on the guitar but that´s pretty hard to emulate for this reason.
