Wow! Congrats to all clapping
This is so cool. And to think Ga-Ga started as a vocal warm up for the GOD (A Capella).

Much love.

P.S. Ga-Ga deodorant coming soon to a Walgreen's near you.

Vina, you're making me blush giggle

i think this project is a step farther from the first one.
some of the songs are VERY professional and good..
Da Silva is great and i loved the groove of Fuzztone, also Pilot Beacon arrangment is very interessant (but i think the sounds are too amateur and too 80s).
but there's too much rock!! where's the funk?!? cool wink

P.S: is it GEORGE MICHAEL singing on Hey Champ??? whoever sings... WOW! eek

Pilot Beacon arrangment is very interessant (but i think the sounds are too amateur and too 80s).

I totally disagree. The song "New Dimension" is a prime example of what seperates beatmasters and those who "do" music from Artist. It's a breath of fresh air when someone steps out of the conventional bondries of creating music. The song is exactly what it says it is, a New Diimension. This is proof that Art still can be done not only with conviction but cleverness and musicianship that should be rewarded.
I can't understand why no one's mentioned "Candy Store". This song is what people in my circle use to refer to as "puppy doo doo" That means, so funky you can hardly stand to stay in the same room with it. Makes you get that "smell something" face. This is production and creativity at it's best. Great Job!

i was only talkin about sounds. i loved the arrangment and the way she stepped out of the conventions! biggrin
but it seemed to me Pilot only had a little range of sounds to choose from.
Didn't sound to me like it was an artistic choice.
so i prefer to keep my feet on the ground before talking about new artistic and musical dimensions.

so the point is very simple:
Only Pilot can answer about it. wink

After listening to the whole thing my song felt out-of place on the album. Most every1 had live instuments and vox that was blowin me away, and when mine came on it was like culture shock...it just didnt fit in with the crowd.

But right now.. "Hey Champ" "GaGa" "High Steppin Lady" "You Will Never Walk Alone" and "Kingdom" are the jams..and I cant 4get "Thicker Than Blood"

thumbs up!

"Blues for Threse" makes me ever conscience about why I picked up the guitar in the first place. It brings to mind "Cause we ended as Lovers" and "Black Napkins" but most of all it makes me listen. I love this tune and if this is blues, I want to be blue too.

The stat page just shows the top 10. I think there are some software packages out there that break this down in more detail.

"Blues for Threse," "Bacon Tastes Good," and "Fall of Jack Lazer" are gonna get sent to my friends.

Kevin Shafer needs to sell "Bacon Tastes Good" to the Red Hot Chili Peppers so they can get some respect again! That song rocks!

Thanks so much for your inspiring comments...I was wondering if anybody on this site was a fan of guitar music and improvisational music.
