It's A BOY!!!

OH - in a final update to the "IT'S A BOY!" thread:
Like I said in an earlier post, we named him Reece. And then Troy. And then changed it to ALEX, which results in THIS image: 
After one week at home, we determined that he had Jaundice, (a condition that causes the skin to go a bit on the yellow side). We had to connect him up to a fiber-optic contraption that was like putting an illuminated vest on him 24 hours a day. The lights were blue on the vest, resulting in a nice "GLOW WORM" kind of look when the lights went out: 
But so anyhoo, the boy is fine and has found his voice, oh joy. with a period. joy. Late night joy. Ryan (the 2 yr old) is handling the new addition fine, only once have we found him dangling the infant over the toilet screaming "WHO'S MOMMY'S FAVORITE NOW BITCH?" but other than that, it's been relative harmony, um, in a house with an infant and a card-carrying member of the terrible-two club. Right there with ya buddy.
My 2 year old son is going through the transition now too. He's been really good so far. First thing in the morning has been the hardest. That's when he wants his cuddle time and he is not liking to share that just yet. The rest of the day has been cool though. All Rights Reserved. |
