I know the is a regular question here, but can anyone please tell me what effect or technique Prince uses at the begining of the his guitar solo.

Just after he says "only want to see you..purple rain" as the giutar solo begins I can not seem to simulate a similar tone/sound?

t is a little of feedback. Like he turned up the volume to play the solo and it lasts less tha a second.
