I have often looked for PR tab and found nothing to my satisfaction,the tabs are either just made of chords that are simple to play but do not sound right or overly difficult chord shapes that sound pretty good but still not spot on.The best I found was an actual page out of what I assume is an official Prince tab book ,though the clarity on the web page is so poor that I cannot really read it http://pages.prodigy.net/...era/pr.htm .Does anyone have a copy of this book and could tell me the chords the tab or whatever,I just want to play the definitive version of this and not some half attempt at it ,can anyone help.

You need the "Purple Rain off the record"tab book published by IMP .
I have this book and it does sound right ,the link you have posted is not the correct tab for PR.

Thanks ,could you tell me where you purchased this book as I have not found it on the web, I generally find it hard to find much good stuff on playing Prince songs.
