Don't take that lightly.
My partner's son started the same way, same age.
Now he's a "rockstar" drummer with Yellowcard.
Chicks, bucks, face time on MTV, Pepsi Smash, Warp Tour, etc.

It CAN happen. nod

He'll get the chicks anyway. wink

ABSOLUTELY NO GUNS...
Even though my dad gave me REAL ones by the time I was 8. (for hunting) Never liked them though. Those shotguns gave me big bruises on my shoulder. Nor could I ever bring myself to kill anything.

My buddy watches the "Animal Planet" channel all the time and never gets tired of seeing God's creations. His favorite are elephants. He goes crazy when he sees a video/photo of one. He has a toy horse and a cow in his hands there. He nays with the horse and goes moo with the cow when he is taking a break from his toy elephants.

I still don't know how I made such a beautiful child.

You sure did a great job! You and your wife, that is. wink

I remember when you first posted pics when he was born. touched

(I don't like guns either... Hunting is not a fair sport, is it? I mean, the animal doesn't know it's playing a "game".)

Yeah man. Due middle of the following month. Man, I'm bracing myself now. I hear that you get no sleep for about a year when you stack two of them so close together.

unless we pool together for a nanny.

Hey, what's sleep anyway?

So which one of us is re-locating?
Let's you and me get a duplex! You and me can take shifts!

Actually everyone said my son was just too perfect because he has ALMOST always slept through the night. The first two weeks were a little rough, but not too bad. He's like me and can sleep through a train wreck. The only part that got to me was that you put them down early, they Get UP early too! I just can't function at 5:00 am. Now we put him down at 10 and I actually get up before he does.

Everyone we ever talked too said the closer the better. As in, get it over with now as well as they will tend to entertain each other growing up. I know my little buddy just HATES it when I leave for work in the morning. He needs a play pal. It's also cool that he came first so my daughter will have a big brother to look after her.

It's funny... With my son, I always imagine all the things we're going to do like camping, fishing, other outdoor stuff and LOTS of music, but thinking of a daughter all I can think of is locking her up in her room and shielding her from the rest of the outside world. I don't know why my head is doing that.

But he's not smoking weed yet. I hope. I'm positive. Damn near positive.

Anyhow, yes, in three years, having two kids that are 2 years apart will be awesome. Right now, it's going to hellasuck.

Your kid goes to bed at TEN! Have you lost your mind! I get him to bed at 7, 7:30 maybe. Sure he wakes up at 7, but, you know, I get to watch TV and slack once he's in bed. I'll take that over sleeping late.

I'll sleep when I'm dead, apparently.

Lately he's going to bed at 10. It used to be around 8. I think it's because I've been working late a lot lately and when i come home he's right in my lap. AND WILL NOT MOVE until he falls asleep. It's like he makes damn sure we get our time in.

If I put him to bet at 7-7:30, he'd be up at 5-6 again!

Trust me, I'm not far behind him once he closes his eyes. Then of course the wife wants to talk for hours about this and that and I just want to tell her to save it for the morning, but I'd be sleeping on the couch right?

Your job is to "...keep her off the pole".
I've got one too. Everytime I see a pole it gets taken to the ground. wink
