I just really wanna know because i've heard so much negative about it.

Sometimes to me it sounds like some folks want their money back.

If you are buying tickets...maybe... but I would still prefer lower level seats then up-close seats...otherwise no.

If you're a Prince fan, then $25 isn't really an awful lot to pay for a lifetime's membership.

You'll have forgotten about the money within a month of joining and you'll be a part of the Club for as long as you want (unless they change the rules again).

The only thing I don't like about the Club are the forums and how some members are allowed to get away with anything, no matter how offensive to other members, simply because they're very vocally supporting Prince, the Club and Prince's religion.

But you may love the forums and if so, then it'll add to your enjoyment of the Club as a whole.

I think it really depends on if you are buying tickets. Prince ain't touring near me so I am a bit disappointed with the club's contents. Most people say it is worth it just for the tickets, which I'm sure it is. But if you ain't buying tickets you might want to think hard before you join.

I love getting member tickets, but some people in the forums really give me the creeps. It's a different vibe over there for sure.

I actually joined AFTER i had bought tickets to see him in July~~~ Hopefully the next time he tours, I will order from NPGMC,,,just for curiosity's sake~

I dont visit the forums alot,,,hardly ever,,I just dont have time...& Im still trying to figure things out~~

I got to get presale tix to 2 shows...I've been to one so far and the seats are great...can't beat 2nd row.

I also got to download the "albums" for a few bucks cheaper...but paying full price isn't bad either. Though Controversy live...best Damn 77 cents I EVER SPENT. And there have been sale prices for downloads for members. I happen to like the download feature and they need to add more to that feature.

Will they open up the video room? Prolly charge for viewing.

The pithy offerings in the glam slam room and reflection room are just that...a squeak on the glass for someone with such a vast catalog (released and not). It's a bit insulting.

I don't go into the forums unless I am looking for information.

So that's what you get. I am not complaining. If it was 100 dollars renewed every year...that'd be something else. I say if you ain't using the club for tix...unfortuneately there's not much. That could change. If you are not getting tix, keep your money and just pay full price of the downloads.

join for the tix and for the cheeper downloads and for the occasional goodie in npg retail (though i think non-members can buy stuff from npg retail now, unless i'm mistaken).

Hell yes, if you are going to go to a concert. For a $25 fee - good for life, BTW - you get to buy the best seats in the house. To me, that is a no-brainer.

Now, if you aren't ever going to go to a concert, then maybe it's not for you. I guess it depends on how much you like to download stuff you can't get anywhere else.

But $25 bucks for a lifetime membership? I really don't see how you can go wrong.

I love the Club, have been member for past 3 years, Have not been disappointed, I have been to 5 concerts and 3 after parties in the last 6 months, and have had the best seats in the place, I have met people from the club and almost everyone of them has had an impact on me. I seem to only get the Negativity from this site. This site used to be fun but now it seems to be for non fans, or those pretending to be fans, How could one be a Prince fan and not want to go to a concert and get the pest seats in the house, You are not a fan, you are a phony. If you was wondering if you should join, you probably should not join, because you are not really a fan, keep your money and stay here with your insults and down grading ideas.
Leave the real fans alone at the NPG site.

the downloads arent really cheaper if youre paying 25 bucks up front to get a membership. Beyond the discount, at this point in time theres nothing to see indside the club really.

Like some1 mentioned already...paying the $25 Membership fee shure doeasn't add up 2 what and the amount of the Downlaods U get by being a Member then downlaoding them @ the price 4 non-members.

And 2 answer the top question in this post....is cause 2003 HAD NOTHING.
Now in 2004...they have recycle Music with a couple of what is consider NEW traxx but,if U really look @ it.Theres only one New Traxx and one New Album,Musicology.
Then why should I pay 2 downlaod Musicology and then a couple of days the oficail CD is @ Ur closest music store.
Trying 2 double the in-com.
It sure defeats the perpuse of having a Music Club!

Lets put it this way.
2001,comercail....was talking againts bying Ur music from the regular way and by joining the NPGMusicClub,would b cheaper and a great way 2 hear all the stuff directly from the Artist and from the Vault.
Not word4word but,I'm still whaiting 4 that 2 happen.
We hear all about these un-release songs has...1000 as mentioned from other interviews.
I'm starting 2 think its all talk!
Because as I joined in 2001,was inpression of hearing these un-release Music.

So the final thing is the Ticket option.
How come We hear more about that then the Music that is supositly called the NPGMusicClub?
I always thought that was a Bonus thing by being part of the NPGMC?
