ARe the "Slaughterhouse" tracks any different from the original mp3's released on the Music CLub during year 2?

I'd love some detailed info before deciding on downloading it or not. Thanx.

Silicon and SM Groove are further edited down and Golden Parachute has an extra milisecond of starting music at the beginning. Other then that, all tracks are identical to the original MP3s.

I've never seen this mentioned before - but the 'early' version of 'Props 'n' Pounds' (at least the one I've got) hasn't got any verses - just MTV talking + the choruses. Whereas the 'new' version has a lot less talking, and lots of verses.

I'm not sure why nobody's commented on this. Maybe there are two 'early versions' ???

here I am again - after a close listen two both the versions of 'Props & Pounds' that I've got, and YES they are considerably different !!
My old 2001 version has Prince only in the choruses + there are no verses.
The Slaughterhouse version has several versions, and considerably less MTV talk.

Why doesn't any body else notice this ? eek

The version with all the MTV talk and just choruses was 'imbedded' in one of the NPG ahdio shows. Pirates took the ahdio show file and ripped Props N Pounds to make it available as a separate track, so that version was never officially available as an MP3 from Year One of the NPGMC.

That's why no one notices this.
