Since they're selling 11 minutes of video for $5.55 to $9.99 (depending on when you buy it and whether or not you already paid $25), I would be quite shocked if they put up anything of any interest whatsoever. I mean, how hard would it be to go through Prince's back catalog and put up a few kickin' dance-y tunes in the VIP room? Any jack-ass with a heartbeat could do it...but instead they put up those horrible mixes from the Audio shows.

Well, whatever. I just thought that quote was hilarious and was worthy of its own thread.

In my opinion, the current incarnation of that moniker is just about as much of a doofus as ever, so I don't find it unreasonable to assume that it's the same person that it has always been. Furthermore, I think that just because the NPGMC moderators hide behind the mask of anonymity, that does not mean that they are free from personal scrutiny. It's funny how people post on this thread to mock me or whatever (not that I mind, trust me, I appreciate each of y'all) but nobody has commented on the fact that the statement made about the CyberClips room makes no sense. Is it going to be the same vids that were already up? Or the vids that are available on WB's Hits video, or what?

I really hope that this recent success has made Prince more willing to finally let Warner Brothers capitalize on his back catalog. And I hope that they have the sense to give him as little control over the process as possible.

Although I agree that the sentence isn't great writing it is neither incomprehensible nor ungrammatical:

1. I can understand the meaning of the sentence and I'm sure you can too

2. the part of the sentence going "come back from the past [they] come 4 ur injoyment" exibits a phenomenon known as ellipsis in that it leaves out a word from a sentence deliberately (in this case "they") because the meaning of the whole sentence can be understood from the context.

I guess NPGMC just speaks laik they likes it's not a crime (unless you're a teacher)

as for the videos...um, yeah, they ain't tryin' to give anybody a NEW video for free. whateva...i can't say i'm even interested in the new video they just put up. they'll give us some old ass videos for the new members who didn't get a chance to see them the first time around. i'll stick to my boots.

i'll just wait and see instead of jumping to conclusions. might be old, might be new but you will never know until the room is up.
