I'm imagining people getting all exited cause they got their confirmation, wondering what to wear, getting dressed up, driving a long way to get there,

and then being told that they can't be in the video because there's not enough room at the location

How can NPGMC possibly invite a number of people before they even know if there's room enough for even 1 person?

Hoping to get some reactions from some of the people who were actually there. Did you go party instead or what?

I'd rather be stuffed around at a Prince video shoot and have Prince talk to me and apologise than sit at home and watch TV, or beatin' the living crap out of, etc, etc. C'mon, there are much much worse situations to be in, right?

If those people had a problem with it, they should have had the balls to tell Prince to his face at the video shoot instead of accepting it and then go home and bitch on their computers about it. Why be bitter about it? Did they have anything else more pressing they gave up to be at the shoot? Im sure if the same situation came up, they'd do it again in a heartbeat

Sounds like the whole project is going the same way Rave went down the toilet

The NPGMC fucked up again. I will give them credit because they have been doing a much better job of orgainzing events this year but this was another fuck up and that's all there is to it and people who apologize for them bother me.

Uh, can you say fanatic? Isn't it supposed to be about the music, or something? Or at least the overall performance...frankly, I have no desire to have any kind of discussion with Prince. I adore the man as an artist, and that's as far as it goes.

Whoever Planned this didn't do Their Homework and Didn't Realize it was too small. Not Prince's fault he came out and told ya the situation. That's a Good thing. Prince did the right thing. I Understand your disappointment. They should have had a Party or something for ya if they could. Being Inconvenienced as that. Peace .

I totally agree, I was completely pissed off.

Yes, I rearranged my day, bought new clothes, travel expenses (gas and time) and he didn't really give anyone a chance to complain. And some people stayed around until they kicked us out and kept 50 paid extra's, so I am unsure until the video comes out as to if they used the paid extra's. They blamed it all on Prince, the staff that I talked to said that Prince changed his mind and is only doing a shoot with himself and the band.

We were told that we were going to have lunch and then address the wardrobe issues and we didn't even get lunch before getting the high-heeled boot from Prince. And they kept our $0.25 from the registration. So all in all I was out about $500+

I said all was forgive on Monday when I went to the Anaheim show and had front row seats.
My seats at Staples for the opener on March 29th were not very good at all.
I still think they should do something for all of us from NPGMC that showed up, and yes I thought confirmation number meant that it was confirmed.

I did however find out while waiting to be kicked out that Prince will be back at the same studio on June 6th and 7th to film two more videos and was told that I would be put on the list for those, but we will see what turns out from it.
