Prince needs to take a leaf out of Pearl Jam's book and use the NPGMC to provide at least one live album for EACH of his tours.

Why?

1) We fans would lap them up like M&Ms
2) Prince has soundboard recordings of most of his shows (he has mentioned this before)
3) These would blow the bootleggers out of the water finally
4) He is so widely respected for his live performances that these would form a permanent record and part of his legacy.

So bring it on...

Maybe because it has been brought up many times, but Prince isn't listening anyway.
Maybe that's because he can't stand other people telling him what he "needs" to do. It would supposedly restrict his freedom or something.

But I can say that I would probably join the club if he did this.

sadly any tours that featured swearing will never see the light of day officially. i'd prefer another way but back to the bootlegs it is then!

I would love to own a seminal soundboard recording from each tour. Just awesome. It would show how Prince's sound and musicianship have grown and developed over the years and would be a perfect partner to his studio releases.

It seems, atleast from what I have seen/heard that there are mixed, what do I
want to say, intrupetations out there. Just out there to confuse us. I don't know
why the total truth can't be said. You would think that would make him feel
better too, because we all know that is one of the things that made him go
into seculsion.
