Contest Song & Cinnamon Girl

I just re-listened to the instrumental track from NPGMC a couple years ago called "Contest Song" (it was a download one month and they challenged members to put lyrics to the song, then posted the "winners"). I realized that it has a very similar sound to "Cinnamon Girl." Anyone?
