is it just me or has anyone else been receiving, say, one out of every three emails being sent by the NPGMC? i'm not complaining, just wondering because i never saw the 'casting call' email and read a post from someone in L.A. who didn't receive it either.

anyone know if the emails are sent randomly to random members?

from what I have been told, sometimes the NPGMC emails are regional. That is why only people in California were notified of the casting call for the video shoot, the free tix for the Jay Leno show back in February, the Europeans only getting word of the longest take of the Copenhagen instrumental, the North Americans getting word of the Empty Room live cut and the Japanese getting word of the Nagoya, Osaka and Toyko intrumentals.

But at least there is record of the email in the U Tell Us section.

No way is it just you. I thought maybe it was regional at first...now I think it is selective.

Im finding it strange to comprehend that it would be an accident that, over the 3 years, I have received without fault emails such as the Satan Claws email,emails selling things like T-shirts for my dog or the email asking for CDs to be handed over.

But

I dont get the emails about advance ticket announcments, passwords, Xpectation or C-Note downloads.

I would love to put it down to my service provider but this hasnt changed over the 4 years whereas the number of emails I have received have got fewer and fewer. I think it is simply that they either cant cope or dont want to cope....hence they got rid of answereing emails in favour of a jungle of topics on the message board, they are reluctant to answer queries (the hassle I had when Rave in2 never arrived in year1 was unbeleivable!!!!)

I get most emails... and sure some are regional. But it's even more certain not all of us Europeans got a mail regarding Copenhagen. I never got ANY email telling me about this one or any other C-Note track. And I'm quite sure I'm living in Germany since 1 August 1965 - which happens to be my b-day.

But thanks to my friend, theblueangel, I finally got to know what C-Note is a year ago.

yup not just you mate. I recieved an email that looked like it had only been sent to uk fans about the uk mtv airing of the Prince special. Perhaps they have all their members in catagories so that different mails are sent to different types of people
