If like me, you were having trouble burning the WMA files to CD I hope this will help you. Many thanks to my brother who worked out how to do it.Please don't ask where to find the programmes as I don't know - my brother did it all on his PC.

There is a programme available for free called Silent-Bob which will convert the WMA files to WAV files. Then burn the WAV files to CD. Note that this programme is German so if you don't speak the language you may have to figure out how to use it ( it's not too difficult ).
The only problem with this programme is that it will put approx 60 seconds of silence at the beginning of each track converted. To solve this problem you would have to trim the converted file using a WAV trimmer ( look for one of the freeware programmes on download.com ).

I hope this is of some help to you. I know how frustrating it is having the files stuck on a PC and not being able to play them in my car.Good luck to anyone who tries this out.

That's right - Nero doesn't work (got it myself). *But*... WMP9 comes with the applet you need to burn a CD right from within WMP9. And that's what Tom's post was about.

Ok, the applet is restrained and allows only for burning at slow speed but it works. Btw, when burning audio CDs I tend to use slow speed anyway to provide for less errors.
