iTunes -- the one app on my Mac that runs all day. They may as well have named it "Finder."

Did you notice some of the other new features of the store, like it plays music videos, it plays movie trailers for movies and DVDs, it has the airplay charts for I think every radio station in the country. When you play music videos or trailers, the related music is a click away.

It's like Photoshop -- you think they've got it just about perfect, then they outdo themselves with the next upgrade. Of course, with iTunes it's f-r-e-e. I remember...just three years ago I was slowly burning mix CDs for myself to have to listen to at work. Now, thanks to iTunes, I've got 2889 songs (just looked) at my fingertips, ripped from CDs I own, along with one-click access to more songs at 99 cents a pop, complete with DRM that anyone can live with. yep - I've been browsing videos and buying songs all night. So much better than trying to find new music by listening to the radio

fyi: someone started up the NPGMC/iTunes debate again in the U Tell Us section at the club.
http://www.npgmusicclub.c...hp?t=73457 still people on there for some bizarre reason arguing against offering choices that meet people's needs.

cuz they are not "unprotected". Which is the cause of all the problems. [This message was edited Tue May 4 7:11:21 2004 by Abrazo] You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

I don't think it's simply people arguing against offering choices as much as it is "we heard you the first 20 times this was brought up".... but, hey everybody's got their something right?

They argued against it the first time it was brought up. Nothing has been done to address the issue, which is why it keeps coming up. I didn't bring it up this time, someone else did. You'd think that fans would be more supportive of the needs of fellow fans. [This message was edited Tue May 4 9:25:08 2004 by alandail]

It's just seems that its getting to the point where the "dialogue" has become: mac users: NPGMC should better support macs because of the following reasons.... pp#: We are not going to do that... mac users: no really here are some more great reasons... pp#: Still not happening.. mac users: but can't you see that its unfair because, etc., etc., etc..... But hey, if you wanna go for plea #21, Valla con Dios hermano!
