----- Dateline: Monday night/Kansas City...John Blackwell, flanked by Mike Phillips, Greg Boyer,Candy Dulfer and maestro Maceo Parker sat in with the house band of THE BLUE ROOM and tore the roof off! Doing renditions of jazz standards like "Night in Tunisia", "So What" as well as others, Prince's comrades gave new meaning 2 the word -Jam. Prince and lovely wife Manuela watched from the wings along with other friends from their road crew. (no, he didn't play, but no prob cuz his crew is nice with theirs!) From PP9 - www.npgmc.com | |
