Tour shirts etc in the shop

Apologies if this has already been posted...but the NPGMC store has a load of new tour merchandise in - including some very cool retro Prince t-shirts....intriguingly the best looking one is a ATWIAD prince and the revolution shirt....plus one with Prince in SOTT lettering and a peace symbol on the back...

not bad at all...and certainly better than some of the stuff recently peddled....

Yeah, the new stuff's ugly. The t shirts too.

Ok...question...I went to the concert and saw the prices of the t-shirts on sale their and I was appalled. Are the t-shirts thru the club cheaper or what?
I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't.

You can purchase Ts online thru NPGMC at a 25% (or more) discount. I could have saved $23 on my $90 purchase.

The Raspberry Beret and 1999 design t-shirts are pretty cool...I don't think you get much of a discount from ordering them online, if you take postage and handling into consideration. T-shirts at the show are $35 ($40 for the Musicology t-shirt with his face on it), and on the club they're $30 plus shipping and handling. It's about the same in the end.

I went to a David Bowie concert
the same week I saw Prince
& Bowie's t-shirt prices were even higher.
He made Prince's prices look reasonable.
I didn't buy anything at either show.

Do you have to joing the NPG club to buy a t-shirt? because it would not be cool to joing for $25 just to get a $30+ t-shirt confused
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Good question...I think you have to be a club member to access NPG Retail, but I'm not for sure...I'll check it out next time I'm on there.

Yeah, prices on stuff at the Bowie show were ridiculous, though I did wind up getting a Reality mug cuz it was only six bucks and I figured I'd use it more than a gaudy oversized t-shirt.
