I joined NPGMC and what a mistake

lawdy.....someone from my old employment that I worked for posted all this info about an event that they are having. I posted that its a good cause but the org has its issues....why did the chick who posted it sent me a message, someone who remembered me from the agency, saying how this is a positive uplifting site, its about community of love and unity eek

and that I need not to post negative comments about the org..... eek

WTF....community of love and unity.....and all I said was...Good cause but the org has issues and I have to get a fucking message.

lawd...let me stay here with my peeps.....

WTF does any of that have to do with joining the club being a mistake? It seems your issue was between you and someone you used to work with that remembered you. How is that the fault of the club? The girl who had an issue with your comment apparently stills works for the place you said has issues, and didn't want to get caught up in your issues with their issues. Again I ask wtf does that have to do with the NPGMC? hmm

its was a mistake because of the overall attitudes of love peace and blah, blah blah and yet she left a fucked up message when I really didn't say anything.

7 words and I get some bullshit. So maybe it was about the org but it was also some npgmc unity crap....instead of supporting honesty and integrity.

So WTF .....rolleyes

Don't let that one experience ruin the club for you. When the message boards first opened up, I wish I hadn't renewed my membership. You can very politely ask that person to never contact you again and if she does, you can take it up with the PPs. You will find some people on the site who will spout love and unity and then with the same breath, turn around and attack your opinions full force. I personally think you joining up is a very good thing and I look forward to reading your opinions in the Knowledge forum.

Rhonda, there are a few VERY vocal members of NPGMC who are all too happy to ruin the experience for everyone else. I don't know why their asses aren't banned by now, but the bottom line is, they're not representative of most folks over there (as much as they'd like to think they are). As hard as it might be, my advice is to just ignore the folks who talk smack over there and enjoy the people who actually have something cool to say to you. Honestly, NPGMC is just like anything else on the Internet - it's what you make it.

Because they support Prince and the NPGMC and therefore, they're allowed to post their support in whatever fashion they see fit, no matter how aggressive, rude or downright nasty they are towards other members. Likewise, if you're gay, or you don't follow the same religion as Prince, the PPs will allow other members to talk to you like shit and they'll be neither banned, nor warned about their behaviour. Make of that what you will.
I like to think that Prince would be mortified if he knew some of the things that went on in the forums, or at least I hope he would.

Don't get me wrong, the majority of members at the Club are fine, but it's just that loud minority, and their support from the PPs, that spoil it.

The Stepford NPGMC Members are clearly the most welcome people at the Club. It seems that those with open minds are looked down upon.

Welcome 2 The Dawn?

Personally, I can't stand the suffocating, restrictive forums at the NPGMC. Some people accuse the Org of being negative just because it dares to allow people to say that they don't like some element of Prince and his career. To me, this is ridiculous, because the Org contains some of the most open-minded, positive, diverse range of opinions and personalities that I've ever seen on the internet. It's the biggest breath of fresh air one could possibly hope for after visiting the NPGMC forums.

Oh Lawd, got to add my .02.

At least here you can get answers. Other there if you post something, people are AFRAID to answer. They'll send PMs and agree, but openly, they'll act like everything thing is peachy keen.

The ORG is a lot more honest and open.

I do visit over there, because I have the right to. But I feel more comfortable here, among "Friends."

Let me edit and rephrase. I have friends overthere too, but they are few and a far between.
