Do Member tickets have good views of the stage? Please keep in mind that I did NOT write the following. I have tickets to some concerts in a couple weeks, but haven't been to any yet, although I did watch the telecast.
Anyway, have there been many posts from NPGMC members commenting on how good/bad their seats were? I'm startin' to get a little itchy about it...I'm taking my father to this shit, hmm. I totally did not understand the concept of "in the round," apparently. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. At the NPGMC.com U Tell Us forum, "codshort" posted: "Hello NPGMC. I wanted to take this opportunity to share some ideas that might make the concert more enjoyable for club members. Overall, the show itself is incredible, it's great to see Prince & the NPG having fun on stage. There are issues with the member seating, however. In it's current configuration, the stage provides some poor views for many of the member tickets. I was seated directly behing Chance's keyboards and had a great view of that side of the stage. When the activity moved away from my side, I couldn't see much of anything. This happened for two reasons, the first being a large black box covered by a huge railing and NPG logo. This cause the majority of my section to miss the entire accoustic set or anytime Prince moved to the other side. This also obscured any view of Renato for the entire concert. The 2nd reason may be the stage's height itself. At approximately 6 ft, it makes it impossible to see half of the stage. I'm not sure at this point if any changes could be made to which seats are assigned to members (maybe assign us the seats the radio big whigs had in Dallas?), or if the stage could be lowered and railings/logos removed. Maybe the center portion of the stage could rotate to avoid constant blockage. Hopefully something can be done to allieviate these minor problems. I just wanted to pass along my observations & ideas and open a thread for other members to add their constructive suggestions. Again thanks for a great show and the opportunity to share some ideas to make the concert experience better for those of us who have stuck by Prince and the NPGMC over the years." You're not the only one who's getting concerned. I'm only 5'3" and I'm taking my mother-in-law who's even shorter. I'm getting worried I won't be able to see anything for most of the show. I guess I was spoiled during ONA because I could see everything from the forth row. But, if it comes down to it, I bet someone with worse seats than us would trade seats to be closer. Codshort is good people  I hope his concerns (all of ours really) get some serious consideration. I'm taking my sis & she's gonna kill me if the view is all jacked up  I'm gonna find his thread @ npgmc    I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! I'm almost more excited about the 19th row seats I know I have in Indianapolis (via Ticketbastard) than I am about the member tix I'm gonna get through the club...

I'm kicking myself b/c I saw some 16th row seats for the second San Jose show but I thought, "Nah, I'll get them through NPGMC - it won't be that bad." Personally,I love the NPGMC seats and annonomous people who have done right by me. I Love Yas so Whole Heartedrly Kiss,Kiss ya the Bestest people ever. Seats are Fantastic Rad. I Lovs ya. Ya Knows the best thing.. So ya know everybody ya ain't getting poor notes by Zel. They are alright by far in my book. To me well my Fav performer and his club Rule. They are so Cool! | |

Greetings and salutations, man! Zelaira, we're all quite aware that Prince is your favorite musician!  And I totally admire your enthusiasm...
That being said, I know you've been to at least one of the recent shows (if not all of them) with member tickets - so can you please hip us as to how the view was for you? Could you see the whole stage, etc.? I gotta say I seriously will be pissed if some damn NPG banner is in my way.  No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

EXCUSE ME, BlueAngel.....did I ask you to post this here? Had I intended for this to be posted here on the org, I would have done so myself! 
Never again use any of my posts for any thread or topic you choose to start your mess with. The topic of my NPGMC post is "CONSTRUCTIVE tour suggestions" (you convieniently left that out). You have neither been constructive nor made suggestions when it comes to NPGMC. LEAVE ME OUT OF IT!!!! Thankyouverymuch.
