Those Fucking Yanks, With Their Microsoft Catholic and Corporate-Loving Bush Administration At the NPGMC forum, a club member named "wieland" posted:
I am so disappointed. It looked more and more so, that Prince will go to the darker side. Everything looks more and more Windows-like. The NPGMC experience was worse and worse. I had to pay more for my last PrinceDVD's I ordered from the NPGMC than in stores in Germany or France. The same with the N.E.W.S cd's.
And now THIS. Using WMA! Is he nuts or worse? Microsoft is one of the worst things ever happened to modern man. WMA the weapon of choice of the mafiaesque music-business. And what does Prince? He uses WMA! Why he in hell he don't use the open, acknoledged standart MP4? It has the most fair rightsmanagement of the whole industry! The most bigger MP3 Players work with it. It is implemented in the next DVD standard! I don't understand it at all. Having more and more problems to reach NPGMC since the beta-stage at the very beginning as a different thinking mac-user. This gives me the rest. Prince is on the dark side of Microsoft. What a choke. Microsoft, which bribed witnesses en masse, which forged videos and told lies all the time to the honorable judge, was sentenced guilty. Then, with your very catholic and corporate-loving Bush-administration, the next judge was told to be kind to Microsoft. At least it is a american corporation! Now in europe MS is sentenced to pay nearly 500 million euros because of his unjust and bad monopol-habits. Lets see if MS could again stay unsentenced. But at least, Prince is helping liars, cheaters and gangsters where black people always where few and having a hard time. I can not understand this a bit. I am so disappointed and so unhappy about this, I can not tell. Therfore, forcing me to break with Prince is the most bitter thing for me. Wieland, Germany No confusion, no tears. The reason I ask is because I notice you seem to pick up on complaints and negativity about the club, whether it's your beef or not. It seems to bring you joy for some reason. Nothing wrong with a little humor. The relationship the NPGMC has had with its members over the past few years, has been nothing less than comical.
Just when you think they may be doin something cool, they pull a Vermillion on you. Sure, there's some kooky fans over there, but they get what they attract. | |
