So Ive just joined the NPGMC... about 5 seconds ago. Looks cool & the test download works fine on my media player.
What can I get for my membership straight away & what is the deal on the pricing of downloads. Is it $0.77 per song or $9.99 per album. This is probably standard new member confussion lol

At the moment, it seems that it's $7.77 per album for members ($9.99 for non-members). With the odd live stuff coming in at the member price of $0.77 per separate download. The actual albums are only available as a whole download. But personally, I've got no problem with that. When you enter the store and choose your download, it gives you the option to enter the members checkout, or the non-members checkout and that's where the price difference comes in.
At the moment, your $25 membership covers only the Reflection Room (streaming old songs - some are quite obscure, which is good), the Glam Slam room at weekends (so far, just mixes from NPGMC Year One - again, you may find that a good thing), plus a chat room and a forum that may or may not annoy the hell out of you after you've experienced them for any length of time. And there's the Knowledge Room which again depends on your beliefs as to whether or not you find it a good place to be. Oh, and of course the ability to buy the best concert seats. If Prince is performing in your area, then that element of the Club is priceless. I say that it's $25 well spent and the downloads are so cheap it's amazing. _____ [This message was edited Tue Mar 30 15:03:32 2004 by Haystack]
