Quality of Musicology D/L So Whats the quality of the download - is it proper CD quality or are we better off waiting for the real thing?

M Well, if Prince comes to your town and you go to the concert, you'll get the CD. If so, you can download the files now and get the CD later. I'm still undecided, but I think I'll download. I would like a vinyl version of the album, actually...  But my computer isn't yet able to burn vinyl. | |

I'm not sure what that means... you crazy kids and your jive talk these days. I'm happy with the sounds quality. My feet are tapping and work productivity is low. So that's a good sign! | |

yeah its good sound quality...and even teh poor songs are growing on me - well worth $9.99/$7.77

The quality of musicology (sound wise, music is subjective... well, i guess sound quality is too...) is great, if you get the CD from a show, or download it in a lossless format from somewhere.
you may want to stay away from the .wma formated stuff. and avoid the mono controversy single too.... b3 | |

Well, i eventually gave in and bought the lot!! The sound quality is great. Each WMA file is about 8MB and sounded great on my way in to work this morning stuck in the London traffic!!
