Yes burningthem to CD is a slice of wee wee...and you dont need to do it through Mediaplayer like they make out you do - I used my normal cd burning programme and dragged them in.

Sound quality for Musicology is good - pity about most of the songs though

I used Easy CD creator.

Created a music CD project and it found the WMA files no problem

My easy CD Creator only recognises WAV's and MP3's. This is doing my head in i tell ya!

really - that is strange, maybe i have a lightly different version..

Heres 2 things you can do...I thin (maybe you cant)

Select Make A Music CD and then Soundstream (you shoudl be able to change files into Wav or MP3 in there)

or

MusicCD Project should recognixe WMA,WAV and MP3 (not sure why your doesnt if it wont)

Look on teh bright side - at least you have 100 yrs before the license expires and you cant burn them to cd anymore

hmm interesting. i have the latest version of Nero, and it would not let me burn them.

Well I thought they couldnt but tried last night using Easy CD Creator 5 and I had no problem....just drag and drop.

However I've tried the disc in my home CD player and it has a few jumps in it. Don't think its the protection software might just be the copy. Will try again tonight and keep you posted.

Can't complain for $7.99! Not sure if I like Musicology tho....have to listen a bit more.

I cant seem to get a CD to burn. Ive tried media player (which doesnt recognise my CD device), easy CD dont work on my xp system, nero doesnt even show the files & my audio file converter errors when I try to convert them to mp3. Driving me bonkers!!

All I can help with is what I did:

Believe it or not i think the problem is with Windows XP and Windows Media Player as I am using Windows 98 SE and Easy CD creator 4!

Try these steps:

In Windows Media 9 check the licence info for the tracks...right click on the track in the menu and select properties or licence info....this should indicate that you can play and record to CD (I noted that my expiry date was 30/03/04....interesting...going to check that out later!)

If this doesnt show anything or you get an error message try downloading the licence file at the bottom of the download page on NPG.com.

If everything is ok you should be able to drag and drop the files from the directory they are in into your CD writing page/box. You will need to make sure you are connected to the internet when you do this as the software will check via the net that you are allowed to copy the files....and that should be it!

The licence will not let you convert the files to MP3 on your computer. Although you could convert later from the tracks burned to the CD.

Windows Xp and Windows Media are a right pain sometimes so I suggest you try using Nero or Easy Cd Creator or Music Match.

Anyway I think the key is to get the right licence AND ensure your software can access the net to confirm this licence at the time of burning.

all I did was right click on each track and saved it to my hard drive. I then went to ezCD creator 5 and found the files on my hard drive and burned them to disc. THe sound came out excellant and plays on all of my cd players.
