It would've told you when you purchased the tickets (right before you hit the final "purchase" button).

People are just wondering what exactly the side seats will be like . . .

This is only an option for the most recent presales. For example, the first Staples Center date does not have these two types. However, the real question is this: How does a concert in the round have side seats?

Side seats are seats that are not on the floor but up on the first elevated section adjacent to the floor. They are on the side of the floor; not on the side of the stage. In most venues, these seats will suck for NPGMC members. THere will be regular Ticketmaster people with better seats - just watch for the complaints after tonight. NPGMC calls themselves making more seats available for members by including these side seats. I say they are mkaing more money by selling inferior seat for premium price instead of letting them go to Ticketmaster.
