How come the rest of the world can't just buy it in the NPGMC store on the 29th?

He's going to have to press up several hundred thousand of the CDs - so why not put some in the store - call me old fashioned, but my interest in Prince is more likely to be sustained by the music he produces rather than the dog coats and out-of-date calendars he sells in the Club store. Sure, make the music available for download too, but if you are going to be handing out CDs to folk who are willing to attend your concert in Los Angeles, why not sell a few to some willing punters the other side of the world the very next day too? And it would make more sense for Prince to be selling his new release in CD form for $whatever across the world, rather than concert-goers who have eBay accounts.

I bet they'll do all three- give it away at the shows, offer it as a download, and sell the cd. I'm waiting to see on the 29th!
