FINALLY - NPGMC sends email for theater tix Here is what I finally got in email TODAY! It looks like they did what I tohught they should have done all along: simly give a link for all of the screenings and let people choose their location; not try to send out emails with links only for those locations near your address. THat didnt work with the concert ticket pre sale on the Hit n Run tour.

isn't this the 1st time the npgmc has done something on this large of a scale with regal/fandango?
I say give 'em some slack, specially since there isn't assigned seating or anything, so it doesn't really matter WHEN you get your tix as long as you get them... of course, if you missed out on tix cos your theater sold-out I'll take this whole post back and hate them with you  | |

If I did not see it here on this site, I would have NO knowledge of the show. As a NPGMC member, I should be notified just like other members. The purpose of any fan club is to keep members connected and informed. There was supposed to be a exclusive presale for NPGMC members and that can not happen if you dont get the emails to EVERY member. My point is not getting a ticket. I got one because I read about it here and went to the theater in person and bought a ticket. That is not how it is supposed to work. If I didnt not see the news about the show here, the theater would have been sold out. I bought the ticket on Friday and I am just getting an email on Tuesday! There is no excuse. I am complain regardless of what a few short sighted punks have to say about it. THat is whats wrong with the Prince fan base - they are so egocentric that they are only concerned with how things impact them. They dont care about other fans or how business should be done. These same people cry if they dont get everything free from Prince or if the concert ticket prices are too high or about the membership fees.

I DID complain about those fans that bitched about what they didnt get when they were never promised it or were not entitled to it. We all were entitled to get the emails and it didnt happen. I have ALWAYS come out when NPGMC was wrong - just as I have when they are right. Simply stated, if you can say NPGMC is right, I have not right to complain. Getting tickets doesnt make it alright. Again, I am not thinking of just myself. Open your minds to think of the order that things should be in. That is what NPGMC is about - all the fans; not just some that are lucky enough to get emails. There is nothing that changes that and I stand by my position. PS.
