COULD SPAM PROTECTION HAVE GOTTEN EMAILS?

Like many people, I have spam protection on my email account that weeds out those emails that are sent out on huge mailing lists or from unknown senders. Those emails are sent to a bulk folder and I never see themin the inbox. I have to look through the bulk folder to see what was sent and open them if I want them.

This was never a problem with NPGMC because I had them set to go through to the inbox and marked as "not spam". I get all the concert presale emails with no problem. Perhaps the movie theater emails came from another source that my email account did not recognize and thus threw it out to the bulk mail folder. Then, perhaps I didnt look at the folder and through out the email by mistake. Highly unlikely and if true, highly inconsistent. NPGMC can avoid such problems with planning. At the very least, it covers its bases, it should have posted the links plainly on the site in a place where we could go to get the lastest news. There used to be a page like that on the old site. On this on, even though it is improved, you ahve to dig through several pages and go into different rooms to see current updates depending on what you want to know. Why not one page that posts concerts dates, TV appearances, new merchandise, and new download files so you can always be aware? If I had not gone into the U Tell Us section to complain, I would not have seen the links for all of the theaters. No matter since many have told me that some of the links did not work. I called the DC area theater and the guy that was updatuig their site said he had not done it yet. I just went there in person and bought a ticket like any non member off the street could have despite the supposed exclusive presale for NPGMC members.
...cause FACE said so!!!

I thought you might have been on to something then...but then I remembered that I do get some emails and not others...so spam filters (if I have one on) cant be responsible for teh lack of emails. Ive said it before but I'll say it again - the emails that NPGMC seem to consider 'important' such as the Satan Claws or teh emails asking for CDs to be returned I get no problem at all and at the same time as everyone else but recently (since about mid way thru year 2) the email notifications have become sporadic or non-existent. I didnt receive any notification about the Xpectation or C-note downloads, the password for Glams Slam this year didnt arrive till the next day and I fear for teh time that any presal info is emailed out because the tour will be done and dusted by the time I hear about it.

I know what you are thinking but I havent changed any setting or email address since the club started so that cant be the reason for the problems. I think its as simple as that they have messed around with the club and cant be arsed to fix the problems for the minority if the majority are happy.
