Member Seat Swaps? (Atlanta) My wife and I are planning to attend the Atlanta show on April 30. We want to take our 11-year old son with us as well for his first Prince Concert. My wife and I are both NPGMC members so, we plan to buy our tickets in the pre-sale but, we are concerned about the 3 of us being able to sit together. With the pre-sale tickets supposedly being distributed at random, we don't want to wind up with 2 of us on one side of the arena and one of us on the other side. I suppose it's a little early for anyone to have dealt with a situation like this yet but, I'd appreciate any tips, suggestions, offers, etc. Looking forward to the show!

That raises an interesting question. Why would prince be telling people to bring their family, when his club (possibly still) imposes a two ticket limit?

I would THINK that since you actually aquire your tickets at the concert its self that you would probably get the seats in the order that the ticket come in...NO?
I wouldlike to know the answer to this question also as I antispate going with other members also.

You should post this on the site or you could just buy the regular tix through ticketmaster since they have a 8 ticket limit. It would be nice to think they would make an exception for you.

He's doing exactly what they're telling everyone on NPGMC.
Maybe someone will be nice and switch seats, because all NPGMC seats are the best. So he's just acting in advance. Good luck **************************************************

Well, nevermind, with my past experience with the complete dis-organization of the NPGMC I decided not to purchase pre-sale tickets and take my chances at Ticketmaster. I'd rather be SURE that my family can sit together than try to go through the hassle of trying to get pre-sale tickets together or trying to get someone to swap seats so we can be together. Yeah, a lot of us Prince fans are very nice folks but, not all of them are and with my luck, I'd wind up dealing with a jerk. ha ha. Oh well, guess I'll be plopped in front of a computer tomorrow at noon to takes my chances. Thanks to those that replied. As far as posting on the club forums, after reading the FAQ, I figured that would just be a colossal waste of time.

I emailed and asked about 2 members buying 2 tickets each and the possibility of all 4 guests sitting together and I was told that they could not do that and to swap seats with other members.
You need 3 seats together- most people will be coming in twos- so it may be hard finding someone who is at the show by them self. I don't see what the big deal is- If you line up at will call with your party, it seems like they would be able to assign you 3 seats together, but..... Anyway- I'm still pissed that the presale tickets to Atlanta sold out... Oh well- I'll be buying my tickets Sat and I hope that a 2nd Atlanta date will be announced. Socks still got butt like a leather seat...

The only beef I have with this is that they keep saying bring your family. How?
