NPGMC Forums Can anyone tell me how do I get to the forums on the NPGMC site? Also, Is there any talk of NPGMC having a mirror site with a linear navigation? It's like I have to learn my way around everytime I visit. It's the antithesis of intuitive. It's user hostile. It was horrible in '94 on the Interactive CD-ROM. It's not much better now.Excuse my venting and thanks for directions. "america is the devils playground and george bush is swingin' on the monkeybars."

From the main lobby, take the first hall on the left.
Then, take the door on the left labeled "Time". It takes a minute, but the words "U Tell Us" come up on the wall; click on them. Hope this helps. 319

wouldn't it be cool if we could look at a bird's eye view of the palace from above with the different areas kinda visible in tiny icons, then click on the areas we want to visit? instead of the urns, and waiting while the page to fade purple... it does take a while to navigate the NPGMC site.
maybe not if you have the right technology perhaps, but for most people it could be considered off-putting. i've heard the complaint that it's hard to navigate and i feel that too usually. when i visit the site i usually just go to one place like the news area only because in order for me to get elsewhere i find i have to go all the way back to the main hall to get up the stairs on the other side. which is how it works in reality, but why on the net? net's supposed to 'reduce' the time factor. . . . . anyway the site's kind of cool if you have a lot of time to check it out. but i'd still prefer an area map with hotlinks or something, rather than having to 'walk' from room to room to go places. that's why i post here on the ORG instead of over there. nice and easy. also, the ORG's more reality-based but that's another story
