Anyway, BlackPanther, hope you don't mind me posting this. I REALLY like what you have to say - and it's true. You can't hype Prince up to be a God who can do anything on one hand and then on the other say "he's just human."

He may have new music all the time and we are not invited to listen to it, it could just be his personal collection and why not, seems to me if he released a album a month ppl would still complain that it wasnt enough.

He's got a point ...sort of!! There has been new music but I dont think its of the 'standard' people expect of Prince...but then are we right to expect a certain standard from him - surely thats quite offensive to say that one creation isnt as good as another (but undoubtedly soem are).

I have to agree though that the potential of the NPGMC isnt being fulfilled at all..and that seems quite intentional. I moaned about year 1 and teh problems I had but,looking back, it has been the best by far. Year 2 was rubbish as far as new music goes because in my opinion,and its worth nothing, ONA is rubbish beyond words. Year 3 has been even worse but then I expected that.

But you have to agree - the funk isnt exactly flowing like water these days
