On Jay Lenos show he said that he wanted whole families 2 come 2 his concerts so that the kids can experience and learn REAL music, cos he said that we dont want lots of little computer programmers running around!! Guess this is a test run ... first opening weekend of the Glam Slam club with these tracks.
Last time these two tracks -- the remix and SM Groove -- appeared during April 2003 -- Easter Sunday. Just a test. Hopefully something cool to listen and groove to in the coming weeks and months. Love the new entrance and hallway to the club. | |

I went in this weekend. Now, I just joined the club, so I am not sure what to expect. But I went to Glam Slam and all that was there was a player and it played 3 trax...Human Body, Hot wit You and New world...and then a pause and then some funky track I did not recognize
All in all about 20 min of music. Was that all there was? Just curious. BTW I loved it all! I have never heard those renditions of those songs...almost makes me wanna get Rave the remix album. So, just a question to put out there...that is all there is to Download/listen, right? I was disappointed to "see" songs released through the club...but I can't hear them or get them in any way. And it seems like he has gotten rid of this feature...correct? I have basically been telling folks who want to join that the biggest bennie of the club is the presale ticket access...are there any other benefits at the present moment? Superspaceboy, you should count your lucky stars that there was 20 minutes of music to be found on there...and music you haven't heard?! LAWDY...

Back in my day we were lucky to get a 3-minute mp3 for our $25.... They were remixes. I have heard the originals. He should'a released these versions and kept the album versions. New World sounded as fresh and mysterious as anything he has put out. AND the only song I liked, slightly, in it's original version was Human Body. Which was why I was pleasently surprised. Oh hey...I agree with you. Those remixes are FAR better than the album versions. In fact, I didn't like ANY of the original versions until after I heard the remixes.
