I had to laugh - At work today we were talking about good gigs that we had been to and I was busy bragging about being front row at a Prince gig when one of my colleagues asked me a question that Im sure has been on every NPGMC members mind this year :

"Is Prince still about - I thought he'd stopped making music"

Im afraid I couldnt answer her either way - I tried to explain about the club but no matter how many times i explained that it was a music club for Prince to put his music out through but he never bothered or that it was the only place to get new music that was actually old - I dont think they really understood the point.

Sounds like a perfect new member to me!!!

Last September I said Prince was my favorite artist and someone asked "is that guy still alive?"

People ask me all the time "What happened to Prince? I guess he retired?"

I don't even bother to explain anymore...lol...

I thought this was priceless. When I told my friend that Prince was being inducted into the rock&roll hall of fame the first time he was nominated, my friend said "wtf is that all about? Why is he inducted his first time and Alice Cooper has never gotten in". I just laughed my head off and said "what is understood, need not be discussed"!
