More insane drivel over at Da Club A surprisingly reasonable member suggested that they would pay more for membership if the rooms were updated more frequently, and one of the biggest ass-suckers on there responded with the following stroke of brilliance:

The only thing that remains the same is that eye'll ALWAYS b a member!" *** I can't begin to say what's wrong with the above ... it's too overwhelming...I need to sit down and rest a while... No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I know it's not your comments - responding to whoever wrote that - I joined NPGMC for one reason only - new and/or previously unreleased music. To date, there have been 2 songs that meet that description, and one of those - What Do U Want Me 2 Do - was low bit rate mono.
I did not join a music club for chats, bulletin boards, to buy t-shirts, to view pictures, to read lyrics to songs I already own, to hear a random 3 tracks I already have in iTunes and on my iPod. I joined the Music Club for one reason, to get music I don't already have. My iPod is hungry, for $25, I've been able to feed it 2 whole songs. | |

New Conference room topic practically every day? I have a new bowel movement every day, but I don't go bragging about it. Not EVERY day, anyway.
New retail added regularly? Sad that ya can't say "new MUSIC added regularly. It was all logowear this year, except for a few boxes of old inventory that didn't move the first time around. And ya know, I didn't join this thing for dog t-shirts and bibs. Recent pix from Hong Kong and Australia in Backstage Pass? Those were PR pics. PR pics are not a privilege. The "privilege" is when the artist gets their money's worth out of the promo shots they paid for. Brand new song "What Do U Want Me 2 Do?" in Glam Slam VIP? Oh, you mean that thing recorded in mono that we couldn't download and was taken down after a coupla days? Yeah, that was a real joy. Alternating verses in the VS. room? SINCE WHEN??? New Reflection room trax weekly? Did you misspell "weakly"? Okay, I know, I know, "time is a trick" and all that, but what do you consider a week? Here on Earth, we measure a week in 7 days. New pix, links, newz posted frequently by the mods in the 4ums? Because it's easier to post their latest cryptobabble in an internet bulletin board post than it is to have to hassle with website design, the lazy bums. I want to be excited about the future of this dumb club, really I do. But after this year, it's gonna be an uphill sell, at least where I'm concerned. Whenever I think of where this dude's following is going, I always think of that scene in Graffiti Bridge where his club is going downhill fast and he's playing "Elephants & Flowers" to an audience of like 8 people who are all dressed like Cirque de Soleil and doing erotic mime routines. Interesting...when I enter my user name and password at the club, it takes me to the Join Now screen, which describes the 2003 membership...is everyone else able to get in currently? I guess they really DON'T believe in time. The year ends TOMORROW, jack-offs! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
