At of all of the unnecessary spending you do in your life...drugs...cigarettes...bars...whores...stripclubs...frivilous shopping...eating out...porn...etc. Do you consider NPGMC as one of the things you spend on unnecasarily?

I find this thread to be offensive, quite frankly.


Spending money on whores and strip clubs IS NOT UNNECESSARY. After all, strippers and whores have school and kids and thangs to pay for. Lapdances and back alley BJs are ways of supporting those less fortunate. L4OA!!!

NPGMC was an unnecessary spending for me yes.. it wasnt a huge loss or anything.. haha but I did pay 25 to access a fucking instrumental cd that the world got a week after me

Many of us contributed $1000s of dollars to Prince over the years so $25 is a drop in the bucket if you want to rationalize that the club was all great and that they really gave a fuck, then you can go with well it was only $25 and a bj from a crack hoe cost that!

I was making out my budget for this year the other day. Trying to map out expenses, income, and what lays ahead this year.

I stopped and thought about the $25 I spent on membership for the NPGMC last year . I spent $25 for 1st access to NEWS (it was in stores, what, a week later?), downloaded songs from the reflection room (the majority I had already had in one form or another), downloaded a new song that wasn't very good, got to hear a new song in the Glam Slam room that I actually liked, but couldn't download, and had access to a very closely guarded/censored chat room and forum. All I can say is that I don't think it was worth the $$. If they had released the Chocolate Invasion or something that you couldn't get anywhere else, or had a concert in my city, then it would have been worth it but I still can't figure out why I spent $25 for this. I feel it was a total waste of money and don't plan on joining again.
