Dont u think this site should be free of charge?? I mean there is nothing special in there to offer all of the paying fans.

I know of free sites that offer far more than Prince's does...heck, we ALL know of better fan sites...but you know how our pious purple Prince loves his money. I wish he'd go back to a free site w/ premium services for paying members at the very least.

you realize of course that if the site was free there would never be another presale or soundcheck party. "Who Cares?" you may say but many, many people thought this a HUGE part of their membership and a tour is supposedly coming up. But whatever, why give Prince your money. I need my $25 to buy a tee shirt instead. He should do free concerts too! And free CDs! What a greedy man.

imo the main part of the cyber mansion should be open to the general non-member public, like a lobby area where there's retail and a concert news bulletin board and such. but the chat and other perks could be member only.

Dont you see...Prince is a true genius..

In Year 1 he proved to us all that the planet we live on isnt as big as we first thought...by going on a WORLD tour that only took in the USA and Canada.

In Year 2 he proved that you dont have to have music in your music club...who would have thought????

In Year 3 he proved you dont need a club in your music club either.

Year 4...you make the music and pay him anyway

and I now know what his favourite film is...CARRY ON REGARDLESS.....oooh Matron!!!!

The club has gone down hill every year - The first year was best - once they got the initial glitches worked out. A ton of music that couldn't be gotten anywhere else, plus a real album was released that club members could buy early.

The second year had some promise, but most everything originally promised got scrapped. Ended up paying $100 to get early music that was later sold for $50. An end of the year release of Xpectation as a download somewhat salvaged the year - at the same time he decided a year is 10 months. Their was a tour and members did get access to better seats and aftershows if there was one in your town.

The 3rd year has been a disaster. What'd we get one song and a low bit-rate preview of NEWS and a steady stream of songs most of us already have. Is it too much to ask for a music club to give you some actual new music?

Last year has been the worst year to be a member. Total waste of money and a pile of crap..

What can he throw at us this year???
