He has tons and tons of grooves upon the shelf, but he gives us only mediocre downloads! I give him a measly 3!

I thought NPGMC would improve this year since they seemed to take the stance of promise the members nothing then anything will be appreciated. Except they forgot to give us anything except a boring unchanging website, 2 downloads & the privledge to buy from the NPGMC store. Unless they have some great yearend surprise planned this year was the biggest dissapointment of the 3 years.

2!! 2 mp3's, some video, a movie preview that was blurry and all, NEWS and a live dvd that are collecting dust. Overall, will wait and see what the NPGMC will do! Will be hesitant about giving them some advance pay this time. Year 1= 8, Year 2= 7! Year 3= blew a tire!

ohh, yeah and for anyone reading this that did not join! Us members did pay $$$ for NEWS and the DVD just like U did at Bestbuy!!! So really for $25 we got two MP3s and some videos downlaods. I think we were able to get the NEWS cd and the live DVD like a few weeks before they were released =ing mine has more dust on it than U'rs!

I give the club 6/10 design - really cool concept but well, having just dial-up acces - it takes 2 long 2 load - and its just not worth the wait- i generally read the org first then go 2 the site if its worth it! design is nice - but content is much more important...2 songs we didn't already have and some vids I didn't bother with...the quality/quantity just ain't worth it...so content wise I give 3/10 year - although I didn't mind buying the DVD and NEWS cos it was a lower joining fee and no way was worth $100 to join up - just as well it was only $25..(otherwise it would have been a 1/10)

BUT...

as 4 being in the club this year and flying over 2 Sydney (from Dunedin, New Zealand) for the Friday 24/10/03 show...well - that has got 2 b the best reason 4 joining the club - I have been waiting 3 years 4 this 2 happen as a club member (11 years since I last saw Prince - also in Sydney) it was well and truly worth it this year!!! the soundcheck was absoluteluy awesome..I mean 17 days, followed by a jam followed by BEAUTIFUL STRANGE!!! followed by The Rainbow Children jam!!! all from front row centre...my god!!! And then of course the Main Show...and err..the after party was nice - a bit of a let down he didn't play...but at least I was just a foot or so away from Prince and the Band...also - special thanx 2 John Blackwell 4 having great aim and throwing the drumstix near me so I could grovel on the floor and grab a stick - and to sign it later was cool as hell!! a real nice guy!! no way I woulda missed this experience!!! only downside was that with such short notice (4 weeks or so) before the concert 2 organise flight tix, accommodation etc by the time I had my (no refunds or exchange) tix...I couldn't stay 4 the 2nd night in sydney - cos it was only announced a week or so before the first night(too late 4 me to change my plans)...damn shame...but hey...I am still blown away from the experience!!!

So 4 that I give the club 9/10...
so overall I guess by adding the 3 together I get 18/30 - divide by 3 and the total is 6/10!!!

But I can understand y the Northern Hemisphere fan/ms may score lower...maybe now they can see it from our side downunder ...cos we had 2 years of no shows!!! and it cost us a lot more $$$!!!
I think next year will b interesting...any news on a new album surfacing???...apart from the aussie and hawaiian shows its been a very very lean year 4 a 'MUSIC' Club...

I give it 2...but then it only really gets those points for the vid clips that are on the DVD.

Nothing has really worked how it shoudl have done this year - email notifications,unable to get into GlamSlam etc.
