Peace Fam...

i was on The NPGMC (yesturday - the 16th) waiting on my turn 2 speak with Rad & i was kick'd out of The Chat at The NPGMC 2x's. mayb it was just becuz of all the people that were there (& tryin' 2 chat).

anyway... Rad left & i wasn't able 2 ask my Question & it was no big deal speaking 2 her & then i thought about it & got angry. after Rad left the room 2 of the PaisleyPark Moderators were there & i vented my Frustration about how The Org somehow gets the News on Prince & The NPG b4 The NPGMC even thinks about posting it. they're Xcuse was they let us know about LEGITIMATE & ACTUAL news & reviews on Prince & The NPG. & then my retort was that they barely tell us anything & they responed that Prince was a PRIVATE person & i was like i'm a Member of The NPGMC & i'd like 2 b "In The Loop & Know Things" b4 The Org would know anything!


& u know The Org still beats em 2 The Punch & shouldn't it b the other way around or is it just me?


The Org is the Number# 1 HotSpot & i always come here b4 i go 2 The NPGMC 2 see what's what about Prince (& The NPG) i like The Org 4 that & i hope it keeps it up becuz NoBody else can compare 2 this site.

The NPGMC needs 2 take notice how The Org progresses. anybody else out there agree with me on this???

It's also good that the moderation at the org doesn't extend to calling people 'fams' and writing with those irritating princebonics.

I think there are strange things bubbling at the Park, and they're being very careful about what they feel they can and can't "officially" post to the public...that's the vibe I get, anyway...and if that's the case, what's the harm in saying something to that effect, no matter how cryptic such a message might sound to us? Lord knows they aren't afraid to be cryptic when it suits 'em...

It would seem logical that they would give you news first. I definitely agree with you there. But, we need to stop wanting Prince to do things he's not willing to do.

that's what i'm sayin'. The Org was cre8ted 7 have carried tThe Torch when it comes 2 anything Prince & that's sad on The NPGMC's case (not The Org).

Well, I use each site, for what I feel they do best. If I want a Prince T-Shirt, or order a copy of NEWS, hear a new tune, or get front row seats and soundchecks... I go to the NPGMC obviously.

If I have a questions about his large catalog of music, pick the brains of my fellow orgers, especially want to find out the latest on Prince being on TV or mentioned somewhere...I come here.

Case in point: C-NOTE
I heard about C-Note and accessed the downloads not from NPGMC but from fellow members of NPGMC who provided links to the songs. I didn't hook up with these downloads thru NPGMC forums but from alt.music.Prince or the org. NPGMC didn't provide this information. Yes NPGMC provided the downloads of these songs but the information informing me of these songs came from other then NPGMC sources. Thats not right. I belong to the NPGMC - I should have been provided with this info from the NPGMC - where does Prince's privacy come in here at all?

Not sure when you downloaded these, but remember that NOT ALL of the tracks were available to all members. Depending on your location you were supposed to receive an email giving you a link to ONE track. If you were a member last year you should have received this email the first week of 2003.
Admittedly there has been some problems with people getting their emails from the club, but anyway, club members were never meant to have ALL the tracks, just one. Personally I reckon this was an experiment to see how quickly the links would be shared.
But I do agree that the club has fallen short on delivering any news of interest.

Some of the most fun places don't have fences or gates.
